Shopify Custom App: Virtual Product Customizer

Challenge: Replace the time-consuming process of receiving customers’ photos through email and manually handling internal workflows for custom orders.
Solution: Dynamic Discs partnered with QCM Media to develop a Virtual Product Customizer so customers could quickly and interactively add their images and text to golf discs online and use regular checkout. The product customizer lets customers choose a disc variant, add a background color, upload and manipulate a custom image, and add text in various sizes, fonts, and styles. Customers review and approve their creations before placing an order. The cart and checkout are customized to display the customer’s finished custom golf disc image.
Back Office: Orders for customized golf discs flow through Shopify as usual and are also displayed in a dedicated custom interface synced with a Google Cloud sheet for collaborative internal management, production, and fulfillment.

Shopify Custom App: Reservations Booking

Challenge: When customers first land on the site, they should be able to book a reservation quickly. Admins should also be able to manage lounge rules for capacity, hours, flight times, and lounge check-ins.
Solution: The Club Airport Lounges partnered with QCM Media to create a Custom Booking Application with a user-facing quick book bar and QR code on order confirmation for lounge check-in. Customers interact with the quick book bar or individual lounge pages to quickly book a reservation based on flight time, lounge hours, and capacity. This leads to a customized cart where customers to add guest names, accept terms, and submit the order with reservation details.
Back Office: Orders flow through Shopify as usual, with each reservation stored as a product for fulfillment. Administrators set the individual airport lounge hours, rules, lounge capacity, and occasional closures through a custom management interface, which syncs with the front end and booking tool. A scanned QR code on the order confirmation checks the guest in and fulfills the reservation.
