The Club Airport Lounges
The Club Airport Lounges, a network of domestic and international airport lounges offering travelers a space to relax before their flights, partnered with QCM Media to migrate to Shopify and refresh their digital experience. As part of the project, showcased here, we developed a custom reservation booking app that enables travelers to quickly reserve lounge access directly from the website. Administrators can manage location-specific rules, guest entitlements, and availability from a centralized interface. The result is a faster, more intuitive booking flow that reduces friction, improves guest satisfaction, and supports increased reservation revenue.


Reservations Booking App
Customers need to quickly book a reservation upon arriving at the site. Additionally, administrators must manage lounge and reservation rules, including capacity, operating hours, closures, time to flight, and lounge check-ins.
QCM Media to developed a Custom Booking Application that features a user-friendly quick book bar and a QR code on the order confirmation for lounge check-in. Customers can use the quick book bar or individual lounge pages to swiftly make reservations based on flight times, lounge hours, and capacity. This process culminates in a customized cart where customers can add guest names, accept terms, and submit the order along with reservation details.
Critical requirements achieved include the integration of the custom booking application with Shopify’s infrastructure and ensuring real-time updates for lounge capacity and availability.
Orders flow through Shopify as usual, with each reservation stored as a product for fulfillment. Administrators can set individual airport lounge hours, rules, capacity limits, and occasional closures through a custom management interface synced with the front end. A scanned QR code on the order confirmation is used for checking guests in and automatically fulfills their reservation order in Shopify.

Admin Interface
Behind the scenes, administrators manage lounge access and booking logistics through a dedicated backend interface designed for flexibility and control. Through this secure portal, staff can set and adjust key rules that govern the booking experience—such as lounge hours, lounge capacity limits, and entry windows based on flight times. For example, they can configure the default access window (e.g., allowing guests in up to three hours before departure) or block out times for private events, maintenance, or expected crowding.

Real Time Management
A user-friendly admin dashboard lets staff manage lounge capacities, hours, and guest limits in real time—no coding required. Teams can override availability or set exceptions by date, location, or capacity, ensuring flexibility without disrupting the customer experience.
